FXS Series Face Mills have shear angle geometry that allows machining of a broad range of workpiece materials. These rugged designs ensure tool integrity even during severe operations. The FXS cutters have 45° lead angles for chip thinning with smooth entry and cutting action and the non-rythmic insert spacing allows counteracting of harmonic vibration. Designed with 5/8" IC inserts for greater DOC than JXS series cutters.
