Applications: Plunging, high feed circular interpolation, ramping, and enlarging existing holes. Ideal for light but fast cuts in extended reach applications or light duty machines. Special Information: High performance coated carbide inserts available for most materials. Also introducing a screw on silicon nitride insert for high feed machining of gray cast iron with small diameter cutters. Example: a straight linear pass at .030" depth of cut with a 2.00" diameter at 4000 RPM and 320 IPM in gray cast iron. Products: The 250 series cutters are available from stock in 1.25" to 4.00" diameters. End mill versions with straight, extended length shanks are offered in 1.25" and 1.50" diameters. Face mill versions are offered in 2.00" to 4.00" diameter. Other sizes or mountings are available upon request.
